The Swedish Open in Båstad buys 150 cubic meters of water

Since May, many municipalities have banned irrigation because of the drought that has hit large areas of southern Sweden, including Båstad

The tennis courts must be watered daily to meet the standards of the competition. However, due to the ban on irrigating, the owners of the tennis courts bought 150 cubic meters of water as an alternative

The water comes from Lagan and is delivered in tankers, what the competition has never had to do.
