Amazon Studios has finally unveiled the names of the two riders who will lead the world's most expensive TV series. J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay.
$ 1 billion, or about $ 8 billion, the next series "History of the Ring" should cost Amazon. It includes the cost of the entire five seasons as well as the fraudulent right ($ 250 million) to even use J.R.R. The imaginary world of Tolkien's iconic characters.

They have already met in high school and have been together for over twenty years. The most famous are those who wrote "Star Trek 4" still in the running at J.J. Abrams.

Although the names themselves are unexpected, it has undoubtedly been a solid process behind the choice of showrunners. Especially given the huge responsibility that comes with a production of this magnitude. With a little luck, they launched a story "ring story" really interesting for Amazon. The fact that they are two, instead of a solitary showrunner, who can share responsibility and that they have managed to work together for twenty years without getting tired of each other, is also good .
