Norway The Norwegian coastal city of Bergen – already known for its abundant rainfall – broke a new record of rain.
In the last three months, 1,399.2 millimeters of rain fell, an increase of almost two millimeters from the previous record of 1,397.6 millimeters recorded from November 2006 to January 2007.
During a normal year, it rains about 2,250 millimeters in Bergen, for example in Gothenburg, where the annual average is 650 millimeters.
