The scary discovery of mom in the baby's diaper | new

After spending the week when Kayleigh Smith of Birmingham, UK, had to change her grandson Freddie's nappy last week, she soon realized that something was wrong.

After putting the diaper on her son, she saw that he had shown signs that something was bothering him, writes Birmingham Live.

Kayleigh took off her diaper and then made a terrible discovery. She could not believe her eyes when she took a needle in the diaper that she was just sitting on her son.

"He had tears on his thighs and buttocks," writes the upset mother.

Kayleigh wrote a post about the event on Facebook.

In her message, she writes that she really preferred a different diaper brand but that she had no more diapers and so she bought diapers from Pampers.

She also writes about her anger and her intention to contact the diaper society.

"I'm furious, he has a tear on the buttocks and thighs, there are patients who really do," she wrote.

The son felt good despite the circumstances, but she was worried about what would have happened had he stuck the needle.

There are many who fear what the needle could have caused and the mother's messages are now shared. She invites all parents:

"Please check your diapers carefully if you use Pampers."

Pampers responds to critics

Birmingham live contacted Pampers who chose to respond to critics.
