Thursday night, shortly after midnight, police were alerted by a loud bang in a property located in Hammarby Heights, Stockholm.
When the police arrive Instead, it appears that a window pane for a business property is overwritten.
"In the room, there is a man bleeding and we find that the shot is at the origin of the hole in the box," said Eva Nilsson, spokeswoman for the president of the Stockholm Police.
The man is awake and talkative when he is rushed to hospital by ambulance.
"We have heard the man and we will hear him again, but what he said is by no means a matter in which we can enter," says Eva Nilsson.
Police locked region and will conduct a technical survey.
"There are people who have information to leave and several witnesses were in the vicinity when they heard the loud bang," said Eva Nilsson.
The police have now opened a preliminary investigation into an attempted murder.
