Therese Börjesson at Kalmar Castle and Ingrid Marmvik and Carolina Johansson from County Music invite you to a concert in Inner Borggården on 9 December. Both for those who have the opportunity and for those who do not.

On Sunday, December 9, Kalmar County Music invites you to enjoy a musical experience at Kalmar Castle. But it is not only those inside the castle walls who will get to know him.

"By filming everything, we will make the concert available to people who can not choose their participation," said Ingrid Marmvik, director of music for the county.

The event was named Winterfest 2018 and is currently being tested with Camerata Nordica, Kalmar Castle, Kalmar Destination, Scenteknik and Iteve.

The idea is for the concert to be filmed and digitally delivered to hospitals, retirement and rest homes and cinemas in the countryside in Kalmar County.

"We want to be available to all residents of the county, even for those who can not physically attend our concerts," said Ingrid Marmvik.

Until now, Kalmar County Hospital and a number of rural cinemas have napped, but you want to hear a lot more.

"This is partly because we chose to publish in the media a month before. We want more homes, including nursing homes, contact us at County Music if they want to be able to listen to the concert," said Carolina Johansson, child and youth producer for County Music.

The concert will be available on the County Music website, but not for anyone.

– There will be a special code required. If it had been for someone, it would have been much more expensive with the rights to music and everything. We had a lot of discussions with Stim before that, says Ingrid Marmvik.

The concert will offer both music and dance, not to mention singing.

– It can be said that there will be songs related to Christmas, the winter and the new year. The lyrics of the song will be available both for the audience that will be in place and for those who stream.

The concert will take place on December 9th but will be aired throughout the month of December.

"So you do not have to watch the live and you can listen many times if you want to give as many chances to watch," says Marmvik.

We want the entire county possible to be represented on the scene.

The concert is in 75 minutes and will have 60 participants. Camerata Nordica will represent a large part of the music and one of the championships of England was organized solely for this purpose. In addition, a ballet group from Vimmerby, a children's choir from Mörbylånga and singers from Västervik will perform.

"We want as many of the county as possible to be represented on stage," said Carolina Johansson.

During the broadcast of the concert, shorter interviews will be conducted with the participants and two animators will be in place. Whatever you want, you still do not want to reveal.

The event is free for streamers and the public in place.

"At most, it will accommodate 500 people in Innre Borggården," says Therese Börjesson, Event Manager at Kalmar Castle.

Camerata Nordica, unlike other contributors, is located in the Green Hall in order to avoid any risk of destruction of sensitive instruments. But go through the windows to be heard on the farm.

– In case of bad weather, we will move everything in Green Hall and organize the concert in two rounds to accommodate as many people as possible. Decisions will be made a few days before going out with the information. But we hope to have it, "said Börjesson.
