The modern museum housed in the former Rooseum premises on the site of Ola Billgren in Malmö will host five major exhibitions next year. The first artist is the artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd who left 2016 in Landskrona. His nonviolent sculpture is well known throughout the world and is, among others, in front of the United Nations House in New York and the Malmö Stock Exchange. The exhibition at Moderna Museet will focus on Kilroy's installation and a series of large-scale drawings made by Reuterswärd after his stroke in 1989, when he was forced to change his left hand / right. On February 2nd, the exhibition will open "Alias: CFR" and will be held on May 5th.
The same day, February 2, opens the exhibition "Blue is the color of your eyes" where are presented works from the collection of the Modern Museum, with special attention for the Franco-American sculptor Louise Bourgeois. The exhibition will take place on January 26, 2020.
At the modern Stockholm museum the exhibition "Warhol 1968" was very successful and she was moved to Malmö this spring. The exhibition will open on March 30 and will focus primarily on 1968 and the attempted assassination of Andy Warhol. These include the well-known co-tapestries, the first Brillo Box of 1964 and Malmö, or all the records designed by Warhol. "Warhol 1968" ends on September 8th.
During the summer, a shorter exhibition will bring together artists Majlis Agbeck and Johan Röing from Malmö from May 25 to September 29. When the exhibition ends, "Human and Nature" takes over in an international collective exhibition.
