Avicii was celebrated during the MTV gala of the weekend – became the Swedish artist of the year

On Sunday, this year's MTV EMA Gala was held in Bilbao, Spain. The big winner of the night has become Camila Cabello who combined the four awards, including the category "Best Artist" and also performed the super big "Havana".

But the most moving awards ceremony took place when Tim "Avicii" Bergling was awarded postum in the category of best Swedish artist.

Tim was found dead on April 20, 2018 in Muscat, capital of Oman, where he was on vacation. The announcement of the death of the Swedish star has been a shock and millions of fans around the world are grieving it now.

Tim has already been congratulated posthumously of MTV, on MTV VMA for their video with Rita Ora to the song "Lonely Together".

Swedish Peg Parnevik was up as an MTV ambassador and went red carpet with names like Lindsay Lohan, Nicki Minaj and Ashlee Simpson.
