Basshunter, Jonas Altberg on love and death

Jonas "Basshunter" Altberg is back.

He is now narrating his projects, romance in the reality series – and the tragic event of the death of two people.

"It was terrible," says Jonas Altberg at Nöjesbladet.

Basshunter can take advantage of many troubled years since the breakthrough of 2006 with "Boten Anna".

Today is Jonas Altberg, 33 years old, twelve years older and participated in one of the UK's biggest reality series, touring the world and getting married.

Last week, Jonas Altberg released his first song in five years, "Masterpiece". Even though he has not heard much about him in Sweden in recent years, he is more visible in Britain.

"We have three major tours a year in Britain and Ireland, and a club is going to Basshunter to sell it the same day," says Altberg.

Much of the hype around his name, he thanks "Celebrity big brother" for a series in which he participated in 2010.

"It was one of the best things that could happen, and when you participate in such a big reality show, most of them know Basshunter, but they do not have a face on the music yet. to me, they have a face on me.The attention you received when you went to town was virtually impossible for a year.

Refused to answer the question

What rewrote him most after his involvement in the program was the romance he had with the participant. Katia Ivanova, model and ex-girlfriend of the Rolling Stone star Ronnie Wood.

"It was just a plow," laughs Jonas Altberg.

– I am a spontaneous person and take things as they come.

Today, both have no contact. However, he still talks with the MMA fighter Alex Reid, formerly married to the scandal model Katie Pricesaid Altberg.

For a time, Jonas Altberg has a new love. Tina Makhia Khayatsadehas he learned in Dubai where he lives. After three years together, married last year.

But what about love life today is not something that Altberg wants to talk about.

– No comments. No, it's personal. You must do that, he says, laughing.

"It's not my fault"

Jonas Altberg plays assiduously in clubs in Britain and describes his plays as spontaneous and festive. But in December of last year, a concert at the club was evacuated after two men in the 19 's took ecstasy. The men were taken to the hospital where they died.

– It was terrible, of course. I was told after the match, maybe half an hour after finishing playing. I sat backstage and there was an alarm and the club was evacuated. Then I discovered what happened. It's tragic, says Jonas Altberg.

– But who will you blame? The press was talking to me, and it is clear that it is very boring, but it is not my fault if it will happen if you say so. But what you can say to young people, is to watch with what you do. Imagine two, three times before doing something stupid that can be very bad.

Altberg lives today in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. When Nöjesbladet speaks with him, he is in a country in Småland.

Can you plan your move?

– One day. But not now. I've thought about it a few times, but you've traveled a lot. You are not used to being in the same place, a great friendship. We see each other. I do not say yes or no. But I thought about it.
