The immortal Diablo mobile game has received strong criticism from players around the world. During a panel of questions and answers, a person from Blizzcon even asked if it was a late joke.
When Blizzard was asked if they expected such a response from the players, they simply replied "No". and continues, "It's a complete Diablo experience that will allow everyone to play, which hopefully will allow many new faces to discover the universe and receive a return from the community."
To understand why the reaction has become as it was, remember the launch of Diablo 3, considered by many to be one of the most unsuccessful launches in the time series. Now, after several years of declining numbers, the community thinks Blizzard no longer cares about Diablo. One last hope was for many to create a remaster of Diablo 2. A completely broken dream when it was replaced by a mobile game developed by Chinese NetEase.
Blizzard Wyatt Cheng also received many critics when it was asked if Diablo Immortal was coming on PC, then he replied with amusement "You do not have a phone?". Something that was not really appreciated because PC gamers have long been ignored.
