The EEEFF artist duo with Nicolay Spesivtsev and Dzina Zhuk, the photographer Erik Holmstedt, Igor Samolet and Susanne M Winterling are among the exhibitors.
"Digitization has brought about major changes in society and daily life – it's a brand new technology – ten years ago we had enough phones – now every day we use a smartphone and use social media We do not think much, we think it is important to think about our digital landscape, to tell it and to do it with several artists, "says artistic director Cornelus Stiefenhofer.
The series of photographs presented in the exhibition examines the origins of data centers and their evolution. The region of Boden and Luleå is today a key region for the digital industry. The photographer Erik Holmstedt started his photoresa after the Luleå river.

– It all started with the hydroelectric power of the rivers or the green electricity found in the rivers. This is the origin of our computer rooms. I have photographed hydroelectric power plants after the Luleå River and the transmission of energy that destroys the electricity of the communities.
He also examined server rooms, such as Facebook in Luleå and several others in Boden. Today, the old area reserved for helicopters of the AF 1 has long been a ghost site, which is gaining a new life.
– I looked at how the sites looked like architecture and how the landscape has changed. The former helicopter hangar is surrounded by a new fence, while others are newly built in keeping with the tradition of building North Botting. I then followed the reservoir of the server room in residential areas with fiber optic networks and the small houses in which we live, says Holmstedt.
Susanne M Winterling's time-based work is interested in the mirror effect of human contact. In his work, predetermined ideas about the distinction between man, nature and objects are discussed and what happens in the resolution between these categorizations. The whole project of the Russian artist Igor Samolet presents a complex dramaturgy reminiscent of a sitcom. Its object must form digital windows. There are Facebook posts, screenshots of personal correspondence and much more. The entire setup configuration must show the materialized flow of information in which we truly live our life or the medial scene of the Internet.
