Finland left in winter, that is to say, in the evening, on the night of Sunday, October 28th. Officially, the visors were moved one hour to 4 hours.

Transition affects transit schedules. In most cases, trips are organized until 16:00, depending on the summer time, and tours after the winter.

On the Matkahuolto page (in Finnish), you can check the bus schedules and the VR timetables for trains near the local traffic (see Finnish).

The European Commission proposes that the Union abandon the watch change.

EU countries will decide how much time they want to use – or possibly change their time zone. Countries will announce their decision by April 2019.

A recent survey published by the Finnish Ministry of Communications showed that a slight majority of Finns would prefer a permanent winter hour.
