The cultural association Perrong 23 in Hässleholm organized the comedy "Funny fuckup" on Wednesday. The small room was full and 75 people were in attendance.
During the evening, there were five comedians – including Simon Gärdenfors, one of the authors of the controversial song "Knulla Barn". The song, published in 2015 by the fictional character Mr. Cool, contains explicit descriptions of abuse on children. However, it was not until July 2018 that the so-called "pedophile" was noticed when several well-known media profiles urged hundreds of thousands of followers to report the song to Spotify.
The Wednesday comedy show in Hässleholm was also surrounded by controversy. The reserve has been questioned by a number of politicians of the Hässleholm Cultural Committee, including Margreth Segerstein (M) and Johan Kronquist (SD), President and Vice-President of the Cultural Council. It was North Skåne who was the first to say it
– Cultural expressions do not bother me, because they can be pretty much anyway. It can be scary, it can be nice and it can be unpleasant. But I do not think taxpayers, our constituents, will pay for this kind of culture, "explains Johan Kronquist.

Sofie Ward, member of the Perrong Cultural Association 23, tells DN that she criticizes the statements of politicians
– They are trying to control the cultural range. There is no other way to watch it. The fact that a humorous attitude even creates this increased tone indicates that there is a willingness to enter and control what cultural clubs can book and not book. Since then, DN has contacted Helena Malje (S), the second vice-chair of the Culture Committee, she said that the committee had not been able to book Mr. Cool without a humorous collective who gets up standing
discussed the Perrong 23 cultural association and its operational support.
– We came to the Cultural Committee to send a representative to Perrong 23, who will look into the matter and check what happened. The grievor will also check if they follow Council directions, and if they misunderstand, their contribution can be withdrawn, she said.
Helena Malje points out that she believes that politicians should not interfere with cultural expressions.
– Perrong 23 is a youth association, and of course I do not understand all the things they have chosen to bet on. They have their own responsibility, and we do not go in and do not manage their business, "explains Helana Malje
But is not it exactly what you are going to do now?
– Then you can interpret it partially. Rather, this issue has become so hard, so it is important that we investigate the matter and review all the facts. That is why we are sending an official to Perrong 23. I hope we can then understand everything. But that's only when we can make a decision, says Helana Malje
Anders Rosengren is the cultural heritage of the municipality of Hässleholm and describes himself as "the extended arm of the worship committee". According to him, there are several misunderstandings, among others, he tells us that a colleague visited the event yesterday and that nothing in the evening contradicts the directives of the municipality.
– We do not make a contribution in a handful. Ponera that Mr Cool had been to Hässleholm last night and presented this song, there is nothing that automatically means to lose their contributions. But it's a dialogue we have with associations, where we say, "It's our value base on which we base our contributions." Do you share this assessment? "And the dialogue begins. – I respect their point of view as politicians, but we must not forget that we, as officials and politicians, must stay at a distance. We can not enter and discuss individual bookings, otherwise it is only when things go against the values of the municipality that we need to start a dialogue.
DN nominated Margreth Segerstein (M) and Johan Kronquist (SD).
