There are people who rarely hear in the public debate. But on Wednesday night, there was a demonstration train from Götaplatsen to Gustaf Adolf Square that forced people to stop. Thirty people sang and played while walking in the center of Gothenburg, many dressed as rich or poor to show the injustices of society.

Homeless for two years
One of the protesters was Bo Thomas Fors, 68, homeless for a little over two years. He returned home and failed to settle in Gothenburg.
– I live by car, caravan or on a couch. I go to the social authorities but they only tell me that I do not belong to the target group because I am neither a drug addict nor a mental patient, he said.
He told us that there are many who are in his situation. You can not afford to buy a property right, but you also do not have access to rents with a reasonable rent.
"I belong to the marginalized in society and this follows from the policy followed," he said.
According to Bo Thomas Fors, having a home should be a human right.

Homelessness hits him, but thanks to the City Mission and the Rescue Mission in Gothenburg, a social activity that brings together nearly 30 free religious gatherings, he is engaged in driving and theater.
"If it is not the case, it would result in suicide for many," he said.
The Fair Theater theater group, which is a rescue mission, was at the heart of the event. The goal of the theater troupe is that the homeless can speak for themselves about their situation and the demonstration is an initiative of the participants themselves.
"Everything that happens on the spot and on the demonstration comes from the participants, it is controlled by the user," said Gunnar Larsson, who works for Fair Theater in the rescue mission.

A lot of knowledge
He thinks it's an important message that is presented during the evening
– The homeless are people who can take up space in the city, who are creative, colorful, who have the power and a lot of knowledge. They have solutions if they have the opportunity.
Have the homeless become invisible?
"It's one of the most managed groups that exists, there is a controlling company that controls them all," he said.
But now, Gunnar Larsson sees a positive change at least in Gothenburg. The authorities are primarily aimed at homeless people to obtain housing.
"I've seen so many goals from social secretaries whose goal is to stop mistreating, but if they stop abusing, it must come from them." And if you are lucky enough to land in a house, I think that leads to a change in life, he said.
