Sony wants to ride the retro wave launched by Nintendo with the NES Classic Mini. The result is a retractable version of the first ever Gray Playstation console, featuring original controls and 20 games. In the same way, the console connects other retro capabilities to the TV via HDMI and is powered by a conventional micro USB cable.

Two controls are included, and they are from the original model, which obviously excludes titles that require analog levers from the Dualshock controller. It also means that the management is just as proud as in the 90s. The level of "difficult" depends on the game being played. Some titles, like resident Evil and Final Fantasy VII, based on commands angular enough to start and therefore always natural to play.
Other games, on the other hand, exhibit less meritorious aging, both in terms of physical control and functioning. An example is Flash jumping which was a welcome addition to the genre of the 3D platform during a period prior to the backup of the Playstation by Bandicoot Crash. It must have been impressive in his day, but the direction and the presentation are very difficult now. Bandicoot Crash had been a much better choice in the PS Classics game library.
One of the most incomprehensible choices is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six – An iconic PC title that for some reason is considered a classic Playstation. In addition to being a strange choice in this collection, it's also an example of how game developers really did not learn to understand how first-person shooters should work on console. After a while, I start taking control of the control program and I can start to enjoy the game more, but it's a strange choice in setup.

Other games are as good as at first, but limited by the ergonomics of the handheld. classic fight Arena Toshinden Battle and Tekken 3 is still as tight as 20 years ago, especially the latter. Here too, Sony seems to have more or less raised the original version because the same error of translation still exists.
Revelations: Persona is one of the few games in the ensemble that surprises and feels really necessary in the collection. Rainbow six and Grand Theft Auto is in no way a classic Playstation, and many other titles can be played with better performance on Sony's (re) modern machines. In some cases, the choice of games in the series is also strange.
