The twelve boys who were trapped in Tham Luang Cave may soon be out.

The region asked the Thai Navy officer, responsible for the rescue operations, to investigate the good chances of getting the boys ready to evacuate today. .

Due to the rainy season in the area, many parts of the cave are flooded. Water pumps have been put in place to facilitate the evacuation of boys, but the effort is still difficult.

One option considered was to teach boys to dive, which can be risky as they might panic in the water.

Another option is to let them wait for the rainy season, which means that they will have to stay in the cave for up to four months.
