In the Netherlands, a slightly different legal procedure, initiated by a 69-year-old man, is currently under way for a legal battle to rejuvenate 20 years. "Today, you can choose your gender, your sexual orientation and change its name", this is the argument of the man.

In the Netherlands, a 69-year-old man wants to change his date of birth to 20 years. His "age" does not match his date of birth and man for a legal battle to move on his date of birth.

Emile Ratelband has no trouble meeting ladies – until he tells him that he is 69 years old.

The problem is that he himself seems to be younger and that this man is starting legal proceedings allowing him to be 49 years old – and to avoid discrimination.

Emile Ratelband wants his official age to be 49 years old.

"Why should not you be able to change your age?"

The man feels in good shape and finds that he is discriminated against because of his age. He brings the case to court to denounce the unfairness to which he feels exposed.

The case may be considered unusual, but Mannan believes that his argument for his conduct is legitimate.

"Today you can determine your gender, your sexual orientation, and change your name – why would not you be able to change your age?" Says Ratelband.
