The Visual Sweden project Visual Vulva received a lot of attention through the large 4×4 meter vase representing a vulva hanging in a central location in Visby on Monday. The project aims to improve knowledge of the woman's abdomen through visualization technology.
Behind the Visual Vulva project, the entrepreneur Louise Berg, in collaboration with Rise and Visual Sweden. The campaign in Almedalen was funded and coordinated by Visual Sweden and Identx Communications.
– I was really surprised when the news arrived tonight, says Anders Carlsson, Visual Sweden. We were named last year too, and we became a winner.
Louise Berg is also satisfied with the appointment.
– It's amusing that women in technology are showcased. My idea of the visual vulva is to show that the vagina is different. There are as many different vaginas as there are faces. Today, there are women who choose to operate their hemorrhages because they think they are abnormal, "said Louise Berg
Thursday afternoon, the contest is determined by Innovativast in Almedalen.
