Le Pen wants Macron for the European elections in France

In an opinion poll released Thursday by Ifop, the ruling party, LPR, receives 19% of the nationalists, the National Rally (RN), 21%, reports Reuters.

The measure concerns the opinion of the elections to the European Parliament next year.

In the previous measure The LREM received 20% and the RN 17%. The first is the party of President Emmanuel Macron and the second is led by Marine Le Pen and was formerly the National Front.

Higher nationalist parties now account for 30% of the electoral opposition, depending on the measure.

Besides RN, there are three others, including Debout La France, DLF, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, is the main support with 7%.

In August, total nationalist support was 25%.

Among others Conservative Republicans lost two percentage points from the previous measure, from 15 to 13 percent, while the French left-wing Insoumise, led by Jean-Luc Melenchon, lost three percentage points, from 14 to 11.

Melenchon was recently criticized for insulting the police during a riot against his party's offices as part of an anti-corruption investigation.
