After a widely acclaimed trilogy Batman and a VR spinoff (we do not talk about PC Arkham Knight and this was not the name of Rocksteady who was manipulating the port PC) Now is the time for the studio to make its "dream game". What this "dream game" is, however, is not yet known.
The rumor was that it's about another DC hero: Superman. Nothing is yet confirmed, and according to the director and co-founder of Jamie Walker's studio, we can wait a bit further:
Inb4's people start asking if @RocksteadyGames will be at the SDCC this year: we would like to be there but will not be ready to talk about our next game for a while yet.

So no, Rocksteady will not come to San Diego Comic Con this year. They were not either on the E3 as many believed and hoped for. The work of the new game began in collaboration with Arkham VR who soon has two years on the neck. It remains to be seen if we will see the project even in 2018.
