On November 24th, this year's world class season starts in cross-country skiing in Ruka, Finland. So, for the moment, the big heavens continue to shave the form before the season's wait.

And as part of the preparation, many great Swedish stars will face Sunday Supersprint in Östersund. The Supersprint, where four riders meet in high intensity races of more than 100 meters, was the competition where many Swedes met Stina Nilsson for the first time.

Stina Nilsson participated in the Supersprint even this year, along with fellow national teammates Ida Ingemarsdotter, Anna Dyvik and Jonna Sundling.

But it was an 18-year-old junior who caught the attention of the people.

Linn Svahn broke Stina Nilsson

Linn Svahn, born in 1999 and competing for IFK Umea, was superior to the prologue and showed strength even when he began to contract. She accompanied Stina Nilsson to the eighth and final finals and Svahn defeated the Olympic gold medal twice.

"It's very superior, it has such pressure at the beginning," said SVT expert Anders Blomquist after the quarter-finals.

"She's incredibly impressive," said Stina Nilsson, who came out in the quarter-finals.

Then nothing could stop the young Swede. Svahn had strong resistance in the semifinal and final, but Svahn was the strongest of all and won.

"I was hoping to win well after the prologue, but it was a tough resistance, so I'm very happy," Svahn said.

The SVT reporter asks Svahn if Swedish ski enthusiasts on the TV sofas will learn it better during the season, after which Svahn will answer:

– I really hope.

On the men's side, Ludvig Jensen suffered a chest injury defending his victory last year. Norrmann won in front of Karl-Johan Dyvik.

"It was good to win," said Jensen.
