On October 23, the Blackpool Police Station in British Lancashire opened a call on Facebook, the Sun writes.
Police asked if anyone had recognized a man stuck to the surveillance camera when he had stabbed a flak of beer:

The picture was immediately viral, when users around the world pointed out that the man looked like David Schwimmer, the actor who plays Ross' character in the TV series "Friends."
The Blackpool police announced the next day, to the great fortune of users, that David Schwimmer was in the United States on the day of the flight.
The alleged thief was therefore very similar to the American actor.
"We are sorry that it is so"wrote the police station with a glance.
Schwimmers freaky comeback
The improbable viral image did not let the famous actor go unnoticed. Last Thursday, he posted a fun video on Twitter and Facebook, jumping into a New York store with just a beer flask in his arms. Schwimmer writes in the clip:
"Constable, I swear it was not me.As you can see, I was in New York.Good luck at the Blackpool Police Investigation."

The actor also adds to the #high event.
The Blackpool police reacted to the film on the joke by posting their thanks to Schwimmer on Facebook:
