The creator of the Danish series "Borgen" was hired to create Netflixdramat "Ragnarok", a new Nordic series. The series will play in the fictional city of Edda, the screenplay is an interpretation of Nordic mythology and describes the fall of the world, ragnarök. He is currently playing in a Norwegian high school.
"We think that the Nordic region has its own voice in storytelling and that we can show it with this series, written by a Nordic team and composed of writers from Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The series describes the climate, an issue that worries people around the world, "said creator and screenwriter Adam Price in a press release.
The series will be recorded in Norway and Denmark in 2019. Until now, the actors who will participate in the series have not been revealed.
Netflix has renewed its first Nordic series "The Rain", with Alba August in the lead role, for a second season.
