Many points indicate that the Swedish Academy will soon elect two new members. However, after the last meeting of the members, the permanent secretary Anders Olsson only found that the meeting was good – without revealing whether incidents had actually occurred.

With the other participants at the meeting, he was hired by supervisors hired in front of the journalist waiting in waiting cars.

When academy members arrived at the Stockholm Stock Exchange in Stockholm a few hours earlier, there was a discreet crowd.

I do not want to talk to anyone, I have quite other problems today, "said Kristina Lugn at TT.

Two incidents

After last week's meeting, Mr Per Wästberg announced that two new members were in charge of the invasion. An alleged member was abroad and could not be contacted and the other asked for a cooling off, Wästberg said Thursday.

But the permanent secretary Anders Olsson quickly denied the data.

We are not yet aware of the invasion. But it was a constructive meeting, he told TT.

According to information in Cultural News, the author, poet and playwright Niklas Rådström could be one of the candidates for a place in the Academy.

I would not be a stranger to a chair of the Swedish Academy and would contribute to work – in good conditions, he said to the sect.

But Rådström does not want to confirm that he was actually invited to take part in one of the Academy's Chairs.

The future of Frostenson

The fate of Katarina Frostenson is another burning issue for the Academy. Last week, Anders Olsson told Reuters that the Academy was planning new measures if it did not choose to volunteer, as the majority of members wanted.

If that does not happen, we will begin a new, impartial investigation into Frostenson's violations of our bylaws, he said.

Frostenson has close ties with the so-called cultural profile sentenced by the Stockholm District Court to two years' imprisonment for rape. The judgment is appealed to the court of appeal.

In an investigation by a lawyer appointed by the Swedish Academy, Frostenson reportedly leaked Nobel Laureates for literature and new members of the academy.

Neither in the Frostenson question, members of the academy would leave a message after Thursday's meeting.
