The Nokia X6 launched last spring was HMD Global's first mobile phone with a screen that unfolds on both sides of the sensor panel. The phone was exclusive to China, but thanks to a smart promotional campaign, we saw that there was a "general demand" that it would be launched as elsewhere. The Nokia X6 should appear soon in our part of the world as Nokia 6.1 Plus, and it is possible but not sure that Nokia X5 will also launch under the name of Nokia 5.1 Plus. What matters is that both phones are quite equivalent, and that Nokia 5.1 has not yet started selling.
The now announced Nokia X5 has a 5.86-inch display, the Mediatek Helio P60 chipset, 3 chipset or 4 GB of working memory and 32 or 64 GB of storage space. Unlike the Nokia X6, it does not have a dual camera, and it will be slightly cheaper with a Chinese price equivalent to about 2000, depending on the variant. The battery is 3060 mAh, and the phone is like any Nokia camcorder equipped with version 8.1 of Google's own Android One.
