Oneplus can not be accused of being one of the most creative coloring companies on their mobile phones. Kolsvart and a little less black have been the company's standard options for quite some time, but occasionally their designs contrast sharply with the basic variants.
This also happened with Oneplus 6T, recently launched, which we tested earlier in November. Mirror Black and Midnight Black get a Thunder Purple Shadow Company, which starts selling November 15th. The current version offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, and costs 6,295 euros, like its darker siblings.
The founder of Oneplus, Pete Lau, describes the new color in poetic words in a comment:
– The transition from black to purple looks like a storm one night in the summer. We have done many experiments to test how light interacts with colors to deliver our most beautiful design, perhaps the most beautiful to date.
Purple has become a kind of color for mobiles this year, thanks to the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the delicious Huawei P20, where the tone goes from green-blue to purple. In the case of Thunder Purple, the color transition is rather from black to matte, a light purple that looks like a lot of Samsung hues.
