Östersund lost several language games this summer. Coach Graham Potter left for Swansea and players Sotirios Papagiannopoulos (FC Copenhagen) and Ken Sema (Watford) have disappeared.

In addition, striker Saman Ghoddos is on his way. Östersund is currently negotiating with two English clubs as well as Frenchmen from Amiens.

Östersund therefore works with new coach Ian Burchnall to strengthen the team before the fall of Sweden. On Friday, Henrik Bellman, 19, criticized the club and SportExpressen may now reveal that Östersund is picking up an English striker in the form of Jerell Sellars.

Sellars, 22, belonged to the Aston Villa club between 2012 and 2017. He played there for the reserves and the club came out last summer.

Then he signed a contract with League Twolaget Cheltenham Town. During the season, Sellars played 31 games (21 starts) and scored for two goals.

A month ago, Cheltenham announced that they had no plans to renew Sellar's contract and leave in the summer.

He is now ready for Östersund and joins the club on Sunday.
