Two years ago, artist Saga Berlin and three other people were taken away by spraying a pristine outdoor pool in Hägersten, Stockholm. The vision was to create a graffiti, film the whole process, then wash the paint.
The goal was a work of art that would provide an experience of the creative process, says Saga Berlin, who was sent to the Liljevalch show the following year. But then this is not the case.
"From the beginning, I took the responsibility of committing an illegal act, but I have not been unhappy about hurting anyone else or harming him. I wanted to give an experience of the viewer's creative process, she says.
She has always been denied crimes and thinks that her intention was from the start to clean the pool herself, but the municipality chose to go to court. On Wednesday, the Södertörn District Court declared that it was condemning the conviction for serious injury, with a claim for damages of 280,860 SEK.
According to Saga Berlin's lawyer, Matilda Bergström, they will now appeal the verdict.
"It has become a serious detriment to the only thing that really annoys me right now, because serious harm is an extremely serious crime that has to be convicted," says Saga Berlin.

The artist, photographer and director Saga Berlin, who also bears the name of artist Niceguzz, has directed music videos for artists such as Lilla Namo, Rosh and Cherrie. In 2006, she was also a member of Grammisnominated for the video of Tabanja, song of Cherries.
She was also one of the victims of the terrorist councils at Drottninggatan in March 2017. In the debate that followed the trial, 150,000 allowances were compared to the one she is now required to pay.

Linda Leine, acting communications manager for the property office in Stockholm, told Cultural News that she was satisfied with the right to know that it was an injury.

On the facebook page Backa Saga ask people to leave a collection to pay the damages of Saga Berlin. They have now raised more than 200,000 crowns.
