You are in New York right now. What are you doing there
– It's the first time I'm here, so I want to experiment everything. I am here to inspire my show and try to walk in the footsteps of legends. Yesterday we went to the evangelical brunch and I was completely taken. I felt that I wanted to go on stage and sing afterwards. This adds an extra dimension to the series: "think if I can do this song with gospel tap"?
Your show is described as a "Broadwayshow of luxury". How is it different from a crocheting show?
– I chose to call for a "dinner show" because it's a global experience with dinner – Italian food – that I've chosen. We must enter a musical fireworks. And it will seem luxurious, surprising and courageous for me to cast and interpret these interpretations.
What do you think is particularly courageous?
"Those songs that I sang maybe in my apartment or in my room, but I never sang them on stage, and now I'm doing it, and I know there are legends and immortal hits, but I I would like to contribute and ask myself the following question: who will I be when I sing these songs? The challenge for me is to find my sound in there.
Do you want to give clues to what we hear?
"This is my first show, so I think I want to tell a story, it will be a story that starts in Bromölla and invites my journey until I'm ready to stand on this enchanting stage today. And I thought that what mattered to all, was that my posters on the walls of the girls' room were Lotta Engberg, Michael Jackson and Celine Dion.The whole range is so mixed, and It's so I. The public will recognize songs by Gladys Knight, Celine Dion, of course, Fleetwood Mac and Donna Summer, and myself.
Is a genre a particular challenge for you?
– I've always liked Fleetwood Mac, but I never went out to sing their music live. It's really a roller coaster in emotions when I get it now, and I'm looking forward to it. There are not many others who have interpreted them either. I spent a lot of time getting to know and understand myself when it comes to these songs.
Will there be songs during the evening?
– Of course it will be! I really hope so. These are songs that people also recognize, at different times, and sing all of them. So I'm waiting for that.
