SAS plan on its way to Shanghai had to turn around

A SAS aircraft bearing flight number SK997, which was lifted Saturday night from Kastrup, had to turn back to return to the Danish capital after technical problems occurred about an hour flight.

"There was an unexpected fall in cabin pressure, but it was not big enough for oxygen masks to fall," said Randi Baasch, SAS press officer.

The crew decided to return to Kastrup for security and giraffe at 180 degrees just east of Gotland. The planet landed again just after 9 pm

"We have technicians who are looking at the problem, suspected of a valve failure," says Randi Baasch at SAS.

At 10 o'clock, it was still unclear whether the plane could still take off during the evening or whether the 247 passengers would be rerouted to other subsequent flights.

Update: According to Danish Extra Bladet, it was clear Saturday night that the planet would not escape earlier than Sunday Sunday.
