No diplomat has agreed on how the UN Security Council will handle the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip during the Council meeting in New York on Tuesday.

The meeting was held at the request of Kuwait and Bolivia because of the worst crisis in the region since the Gaza war in 2014.
Palestinian ambassador, Riyad Mansour, said the council was "paralyzed" and "did not assume its responsibilities" to end the violence.
"There is a country that does not allow discussions within the council," said Mansour at the end of the meeting, which targeted the United States under the leadership of President Trump.
The United Nations Security Council has not made any statements about the crisis. One of these would require the 15 councilors to agree.
According to Kuwait's ambassador to Mans Mansour al-Otaibi, most agreed that the Security Council should act, but no decision has been taken.
Palestinian militant groups, including Hamas, said in a statement Tuesday that the ceasefire had ended after Egypt's mediation. The groups say that they will respect the ceasefire as long as Israel will do it.
More than 400 rockets were fired from Palestinian territory on Monday and Tuesday. Israeli planes, helicopters and tanks responded to the attack of a hundred targets in Gaza.
