In a major interview with the New York Times, the artist explained to her earlier this year why she had been away from the spotlight for eight years.

She tells us that various factors have led to emotional shock, including the breakup of boyfriend Max Vitali and the death of mentor Christian Falk.

"It feels almost like I've become another person"

Robyn was in 2011 with director Max Vitali, who directed several of his music videos. However, the couple separated during this period and did not meet until two years later.

Christian Falk died in 2014 in cancer cells of the pancreas. Robyn and he have already started working together on the release of the first album "Robyn Is Here" in 1995.

During the same year and the following year, Robyn reached the bottom and, in the New York Times, she told him that she was not able to leave her bed for some time. days. But slowly but surely, she got scraped and found the music.

Today, she tells him that she was recovering, but she thinks the accident has changed her.
