On Monday, October 22, this year's Uppsala International Short Film Festival will be launched. Afghanistan and Chile, remixed culture, the 1968 jubilee revelation and cat videos are among the themes of the year. The films have been washed of more than three thousand contributions and world film festivals. Stolt has announced to filmmakers Sigrid Hadenius and Christoffer Olofsson that international short film majorities such as Shalimar Preuss (France) and Gunvor Nelson (87) from Sweden will travel to the festival to talk about his films. It will also be the photographer of the film Golden Baggist and Swedish, Ita Zbroniec-Zajt, who will talk to you about creative solutions that may exist for a film photographer.
Two jury members with international film professionals are in place to nominate the winners of the international competition as well as those of Sweden. As in previous years, the award-winning films at the Uppsala International Short Film Festival continue to be part of the Oscars jury and are eventually nominated. A jury made up of children from the Gluntens Montessori School will design the best children's film.
"Bergmanjubileet will be tagged in at least three different ways for this year's festival," said Christoffer Olofsson, festival program director.

"We also borrowed restored films from the Academy's archives.
Most of the films will be presented at Slottsbiografen, Reginateatern, Fyrisbiografen and Grand. But this year, the Uppland Museum and the Uppsala Museum of Art are also new partners for the short film festival.
After the Bergman year, the festival co-produced an exhibition with the Uppland Museum and the Ingmar Bergman Foundation, "Fanny and Alexander / Bergman Moods". This includes the short film "Bergman's Reliquiarium", where Veronica Maggio and Lena Olin can be seen in some classic Bergman roles.
As a result of this anniversary, former winners of the Ingmar Bergman Memorial Uppsala Prize will be featured in two programs. Jan Holmberg, president of the Ingmar Bergman Foundation, will hold a seminar on Friday titled "Bergman & # 39; s Arkadien". This is the relationship of this world famous director with Uppsala.

– All the seminars of the festival are open and free for all. Most are held in Grand, says Sigrid Hadenius, coordinator of the festival.
The novelty of the year is that high school students have the opportunity to watch the films of the competition for free and in groups during the day. Young talents from across the country meet from October 24 to 27 to meet representatives of the film industry. The only Swedish national short film presentation takes place on Friday at the Grand and is open even to the usual moviegoers. Seven film ideas were selected for a particular jury. The winner receives 25,000 crowns to make his film.
The favorite of the two previous years, "A wall is a screen" is back. This time, the film's migration begins in the central passage on Friday night and for children and families on Celsius Square late Saturday afternoon. It is unclear where the walks are, but several movies will be posted on the walls of the house of Uppsala along the routes.
In addition to film screenings, there are also other activities related to the film. Thursday night, for example, a movie quiz is organized at the Puzzle festival of the Costeau festival.
The festival ends on Sunday, October 28th. The previous evening, the awards ceremony at Slot Cinema is followed by a special show with three 16mm projectors ("R * Evolution IV") at the same time: an element that can turn the movie nerds into the wheel alignment of the film.
