Facebook has updated today Messenger for IOS to version 191.0 and, in the list of news and changes, the company writes about a new feature, first discovered by The Verge.
The feature is something the user has been asking for for several years: the ability to delete sent messages. With the new regret feature, you will receive 10 minutes after sending a message to delete it before it becomes permanent.
Whatsapp has long had a function to cancel messages, and you have an entire hour, but the platforms use different technologies and maybe Facebook has been forced to set a very short time so that the feature does not start to slow down waiters.
In April of this year, Facebook acknowledged that Mark Zuckerberg was able to suppress his posts, promising to provide such functionality to all users.
