PLAISANCE

Tanya Edgils "Everything for Sweden" has become an expensive story.

She lost all her luggage and had to buy new clothes in Sweden.

But the meeting with Swedish immigrant families enriched the trip.

"It really has taught me that I have to take the time to know people as individuals and not just assume something that is based on religion or background," she told Nöjesbladet.

Tanya EgdilThus, the knowledge of Abba was not sufficient in "All for Sweden". During the evening, she was forced to pack her bags and return home after losing the crucial Abba questionnaire.

Or rather, she had made her bag if she could. The airline has indeed thrown the luggage of Tanyas en route to Sweden. Yet today, he is lost.

"I had only a few things during my stay in Sweden. This made the trip a little more stressful, but I did my best not to let it affect me. was fantastic and helped me within her means, says Tanya, who spent about a month in Sweden.

"Hard to buy clothes in Sweden"

Shoes, clothes, makeup and hair products – all disappeared.

"What's sad is that I bought new before the trip," she continues.

"I still did my shopping and it was difficult to buy clothes in Sweden because there were not many stores for girls of my size, or at least I had some The airline and the insurance company paid part of the lost luggage, but that did not cover everything I had missed or had to spend in Sweden.

It was disappointing to leave "All for Sweden" despite the stress of lost baggage. When it was clear to Tanya that it was just she who was going home, she burst out.

– It was very hard. I was not ready to leave. The hardest thing to lose was to leave and I would not meet my Swedish family. I was also sad not to know more about culture and meet more Swedes.

In the Sunday program, the participants of "All for Sweden" are spent in Swedish immigrant families. Tanya Edgil, Kyle Johnson and Andrew Morrison has learned zina and Nawar, who leave Iraq, as well as their two sons. This meeting impressed Tanya.

"Change your life"

"I had so many bad thoughts about people living for the Muslim faith and the Iraqis, getting the opportunity to live with Nawar, Zina and their boys changed everyone's lives." I told them their story of life, take them into my heart and get to know them personally. This really taught me that I have to take the time to know people as individuals and not just assume something based on religion or antecedents Each person has his story that I want to hear.

The meeting gave rise to new plans for the future with Tanya Edgil, who is now a fully trained social worker. In the program, she expressed the desire to work with immigrants in the United States.

Tanya is forced to leave "Everything for Sweden".

"I would always like to have the opportunity to work with different cultures and with immigrants and be able to work with them, but the ultimate dream would be to open housing for trafficked women.

What has inspired you?

"This was due to my desire to see other women in emotional good health and the whole thing.I want them to know that they are loved and that they have value.

Tanya had already spoken to Nöjesbladet about her education, characterized by physical and verbal abuse.

Wants to help vulnerable women

– I felt useless, wrong, angry, bitter, worried and depressed. Depression eventually led to daily suicidal thoughts. I think women who are on the brink of getting out of the trade are struggling with some of the feelings, if not more, she says, and continues:

"I am living proof that you can get rid of depression and suicidal thoughts and live in peace without anger or bitterness towards those who have hurt you." Trafficked women have a bit of the same emotional hurt and I know that the answer is Jesus, so my accommodation will be based on my beliefs.

How was it to go home after "All for Sweden"?

– very difficult. My husband and my daughter missed me a lot, but I left part of my heart in Sweden. It was difficult to get used to life in Alabama. My thoughts have been consumed by Sweden and I have long dreamed. I have dreamed of Sweden almost every night. I can not wait to return to Sweden and bring my family.

Here, you should turn around if you feel mentally sick
