"The best thing that can happen"

After releasing Latvian Liepaja, BK Häcken takes on Emil Forsberg's RB Leipzig in the second league of the European League qualifiers.

The big German club finished sixth in the Bundesliga last season and is home to several global stars of the team.

Swedish star Emil Forsberg saw wild speculation in the future of the national star star. Will he stay in Leipzig or not?

Emil Forsberg left Malmö FF after the SM Gold 2014 to join the big German club RB Leipzig. Since then, he has been successful in Germany, which has led many European clubs to raise eyebrows.

In the past, there was talk of a move to Liverpool, England, but Forsberg became the loyal German club. In 2017, he extended his contract until the summer of 2022, which was silent on the wildest speculations about his future.

The Leipzig coach, Ralf Rangnick, does not believe that the Swedish midfielder's star will leave during the summer window.

– He has four years left on the contract and he has no clause. This is a player who can and should be a very important player in our team. I have not heard anything in the last five weeks from anyone, no one has contacted us. It's the best thing that can happen to us. We want to keep Emil and he knows, says Rangnick, and continues:

– If something is not clear … This has not been the case in the last five weeks and I do not see why that would happen now. For me, the best thing is that no one can belong and stay with us.
