Earlier this week, Salah Bin Jamal Khashoggi (v) shook hands with Crown Mohammed bin Salman during the controversial major investment conference that was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The eldest son of the murdered Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, Salah, has left Saudi Arabia with his family, Human Rights Watch (HRW) reported.

"Salah and his family are now on a plane bound for Washington," said Leah Whitson, HRW chief of the region, at the AFP news agency.

Salah bin Jamal Khashoggi has already been banned from traveling and has not been allowed to leave the country.

Earlier this week, Salah bin Jamal Khashoggi was shaking hands with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during the controversial major investment conference that was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Jamal Khashoggi was killed at the consulate of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul, Turkey, on 2 October.

After denying involvement in what had been described as a disappearance, Saudi Arabia gradually admitted that the journalist had been killed at the consulate. First, assert that a "fighter went bad" and finally – through the country's attorney – by authorizing a planned murder.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has waived all responsibility for the death, but several actors have claimed that such an event can hardly happen without the crown prince knowing what happened.
