The Vindla String Quartet Celebrates Ten Years with a First Album
For ten years, they have saved the world of music Malmö, but now they will shine brightly. This weekend, the Vindla String Quartet celebrates its 10th anniversary with a concert commemorating its jubilee and the quartet's first record release. All that was required was a delay.
The Vindla String Quartet is often repeated at home. This time in the apartment of Maria Bergströms. The quartet consists of (left) Caroline Karpinska, Gerda Holmquist, Elina Nygren and Maria Bergström (back to camera).
Organizer Gudrun Hauksdottir called on violinist Caroline Karpinska to stress the need for a string quartet for a Dusty Springfield welcome party at Debaser in Malmö. Karpinska contacted her schoolmates Elina Nygren, Maria Bergström and Johanna Larsson and a quartet was created. During a Friskis & Svettis pass, Elina Nygren had the idea that she would call Vindla.
