More than 400 competitors from 21 countries started from Municipality of Nybro and in square when Draghunds-EM on the battlefield was opened Wednesday night.
With national anthems, flags and numbers from municipal councils Christina Davidson participants walked on Nybro Square in front of a crowd of people. There, the temperature rose slightly during the so-called October evening in Nybro.

For some weeks back, some of the candidates have taken Nybro and Svartbäcksmåla. Wednesday night, they were all present at the opening ceremony and on Thursday they were able to measure their strength on the track.
Helen Lundberg of the International Dragon Race Association were in place during the opening ceremony.
