Usain Bolt has been offered a contract by Central Coast Mariners.
But it's worth far less than the star thought.

Usain Bolt has put his nails on the shelf and is now fighting for a football career.
Since the fastest man in the world over the years has scored two goals for the Central Coast Mariners, where he is judged, in a training match against South West United, the clubs have seriously raised the eyes of the Jamaican.
Bolt will have rejected a deal proposal from Malta and Velletta last week, but a new offer is on the table.
The sailors should have offered Bolt a contract, which is worth much less than the former athlete thought.
"Considering offer"
Bolt wanted $ 3 million, while the club only offered him $ 150,000.
"I learned from the Central Coast Mariners that they had made an offer to the management of Usain Bolt," said Australian league director, Greg O'Rourke, on SEN radio.
"This really shows that we want to come to the club and become a football player.It should follow a path similar to that of all tester players, without ignoring for a second the marketing that Usain Bolt, the fastest man of the world, can give to the Central Coast and the League.

The club believes however that it can be difficult to sign Bolt if the star does not receive more money.
"Without the financial support of an external third party, it's unlikely that Usain Bolt and the Central Coast Mariners will agree," the club wrote in a statement released by the BBC.
Bolt is still coaching with the team, but did not go to Sunday's game in Brisbane. After the 1-1 encounter, coach Mike Mulvey believes that Bolt would have a hard time getting a spot on the team.
"You are watching our attack today and wondering if it could really go to one of those positions, is not it?", He told ABC News.
