There are still plans to continue on "Mad Max: Fury Road," confirms actor Tom Hardy. He said during the weekend Comic-Con that he was just waiting for a call.

– There was always a plan for three films. I think we are still waiting for the opportunity to move on to the next one. There is a lot of material, but it is in the hands of Warner Bro.

Hardy hopes, like the fans, that Charlize Theron's tough character Furiosa will come back later:

– She is a pretty captivating character, so it would be cool to tell her story. It's something we just tame because people are always moving in the first movie. One has the impression that she has gone through a lot of things. But we have only seen the top of the iceberg.

George Miller's "Mad Max: Fury Road" from 2015 became a rare hit, with 6 Oscars in his luggage. The film is considered by many to be one of the best action movies in decades, and has just been featured in the best Australian film of the 2000s by the country's critics.
