Woman flew on an air mattress – found one day later

A 55-year-old woman disappeared on an unlockable air mattress off the coast of Crete. After searching for the woman for 21 hours, the Coast Guard finally found her 1.7 miles from the coast of Crete

. The Russian tourist was in the seaside resort of Rethymno when her husband and daughter reported the disappearance of the woman. Three ships of the Greek Coast Guard as well as European coastguards and volunteer boats searched all Wednesday after the woman. In the evening, they still had not found any traces. The search was resumed early Thursday morning and 21 hours after the disappearance, one of the aircraft received a view of the woman – who was floating on an air mattress.

"21 hours damn, I will always remember that day, it was a miracle," writes the woman's daughter on Facebook, according to Expressen All About Travel Report.

If the woman is asleep, she is still not clear. According to reports, there were strong currents at the time. Now, we can not wait to take it carefully on the beach this summer.
