Ö Stersjöns schrubskädor is genetically isolated from each other and belongs to two different species. The discovery was made last year and now scientists have decided that the species that lives only in the Baltic Sea is called Östersjöflundra, Platichthys solemdali.

The appearance of the plaice and lion of the Baltic Sea is almost identical, but the behavior of grain and game is different.
