Xiaomi continues its expansion in Europe and this time it is Sweden's to register on the list of authorities to obtain official access to smartphones from China's mobile giant.
In recent months, Xiaomi has sold relatively few of its range of smartphones in Sweden. Now, however, it is time for the world's fourth-largest smartphone maker to officially launch its phones on the Swedish borders.
Xiaomi has recently expanded to Europe, including Italy, France and Spain. Recently, a dedicated Xiaomi store was also opened in London.
The manufacturer has made a name for itself by offering smartphones that exceed their price range. According to Xiaomi's press release, this should be due to the fact that the company's policy is never to withdraw a profit margin of more than five percent after tax. Hopefully this is fine for the price tags on the smartphone models that will be available in Sweden.
"With products like Pocophone for 3999: – incl VAT, a flagship mobile price at nearly half of the competition and a portfolio at least as good compared to the price paid by the consumer, the Swedish market has already taken the weapons and we just scratched the surface. "Sundquist, CEO of East & West Distribution AB.
The sister site of NordicHardware, Surfa, announces that it is an integral part of the Xiaomi smartphones offering on which the Swedish launch will focus. These are models that target the medium and budget segments. These include Pocophone F1 and Mi A2.
Surf's also address to the Swedish guide on smartphones, the largest smartphone shopping guide in Sweden. Hopefully, we soon see the Xiaomi products tested and compared to the established giants of the market on Surfa.se.
