Sweet and sunny in Denver on Sunday. High danger of avalanche in the mountains

DENVER – The recent heavy snowfall in the mountains has created extreme avalanche conditions in most of Colorado's highlands.

For Denver and northeastern Colorado, the sky will remain partly cloudy for your Sunday. The highs will be in the 40s for the afternoon. We will also have sporadic light snow in the mountains. The lowest of the night for the next nights will be in the 20s for Denver.

The mild weather will remain for Monday, with peaks in the 50's to start the week! A strong storm will occur from Tuesday to Thursday, which could again bring heavy snow to the mountains. We are also very likely to have abundant snow on the plains and in the greater Denver area. Stay tuned!
