Switch

New estimates reveal that the Nintendo Switch has sold more units than the Nintendo 64 during its lifetime.

The data comes from VGChartz, which indicates that the switch sold 217,096 units for the week ending April 6 and estimates that the switch has therefore changed by 33.15 million units at that date. Official figures from Nintendo show that Nintendo 64's lifetime sales have reached 32.93 million euros, making the latest retro star to be surpassed by Nintendo's hybrid success.

In December 2018, Nintendo confirmed that Switch had sold 32.27 million units. It is easy to believe that the N64 has definitely been exceeded at this stage. Interestingly, Nintendo sold 224.97 million games for Nintendo 64, while Switch was slightly behind 163.31 million in December 2018.

So, which of the previous Nintendo machines is next on Switch's most wanted list? This would be SNES, which achieved 49.10 million sales during its existence.

We imagine that 50 million euros is a situation of when, rather than "if" with Switch, so when do you think it will achieve this goal? Let us know in the comments below.
