After twelve years, "Def Jam Vendetta" could return to the screens. The rumors are powered by a tweet Def Jam Recordings.
Fans of the "Def Jam" series have been waiting for almost twelve years for a new software release. It all started with "Def Jam Vendetta" in 2003, and a year later "Def Jam: Fight for NY" hit the market. More recently, PlayStation Portable players have been served with Def Jam Fight for NY: The Takeover. In the rejections, fans met known musicians such as DMX, Method Man, Redman, Ludacris, Scarface or Joe Budden
It is quite possible that the HipHop label is being reloaded. This could be suggested by a promising tweet from Def Jam Recordings music label. The rumors are fed by the post below, showing possible coverage. There is also room for a potential cover star
The music label asks – purely hypothetical – who could denounce the cover: "Hypothetically, who would you like to see on the cover if this game does a return?". The top of the cover also features the PS4 logo. Although the tweet may indicate a return, the message is a speculation waiting for an official announcement.
