Chaos broke out at the Swiss Football Federation (SFV): The association broadcast uncontrolled and false information about the nationality of its players during the debate on the dual citizen. It was said to Granit Xhaka, the midfielder of Swiss origin, in addition to the Swiss passport and Albanian. This is wrong because it turns out now. Xhaka does not belong to anyone other than the Swiss passport – he therefore has neither Albanian nationality nor Kosovan nationality.
This is confirmed by Xhaka's counselor, Bern's lawyer, André Gross, at the SonntagsZeitung. The Albanian Embassy in Bern has no granite Xhaka with a year of birth in its register of citizens in 1992.
