The first BattleTech extension "Flashpoint" will be released on November 27, 2018 and will cost 19.99 euros. The add-on includes three new "Mechs" (Crab, Cyclops and Hatchetman), another type of mission and the biome / tropical space. There are flashpoints.

Conflict zones are short stories with branches (higher risk) consisting of interconnected mercenary missions generated by procedures, with new crew conversations, special events and moments of decision. Flashpoint stories are "continuous bets", so players can not fix their Mechs between missions. An overview of the extension is given in the following video.
