For nearly 25 years, singer Eloy de Jong has been performing on stage under his name and producing songs. But it's over now. The reason is a curious dispute with the German art rock band Eloy.

The group, which has existed since 1969, sued the Dutchman, preventing him from performing under his name and spreading music. At the request of RTL, the founder of the group Frank Bornemann explains: "The roast has long been eaten, I wish Eloy all the best, nobody wants the other, but I do not want fans to be irritated . " de jong?

The conflict is incomprehensible to the former star of Caught-In-The-Act. "For my daughter, I call Papa Eloy, my mother, my sister and my partner are Eloy and for my fans, I've been like that ever since I became known," says Eloy de Jong. His manager and producer Christian Geller always wants to find a solution quickly. "We must now think about how Eloy can continue to be named as an artist."

Due to the curious legal dispute, the covers of the album must also be changed. Graphic designers are already at work. "From now on, even the cover needs to be changed, only existing stocks can be sold," says Geller. For Eloy de Jong, all the anger for his name is bitter enough. With his solo album "Kopf aus – Herz an" he finally celebrates his greatest success as a solo artist and is ranked # 2 on the charts.
